Once upon a time, marketers could research a few keywords for a website or a blog post with Google AdWords, and they were good to go. Since Google launched Panda in 2011, the process of optimizing keywords has become more complex. Sites with low quality or “thin content” and generic keywords no longer rank nearly as well as sites with rich, high-quality content and long-tail keywords.
