i have not received a link for today's webinar. I signed up using my email address. please send a link.

  2. I was unable to view the webinar as the link from the registration page wouldn't connect. Also had to register a second time to even find the link to the webinar. Maybe I missed something somewhere. Sorry I missed it.

  3. I recieved an email stating -
    “Hi,
Just a quick last-minute note to remind you to sign up for the
zero-cost webinar, “How to Develop X-Ray Vision in Your Market.”

In going through the steps to access this “zero-cost webinar” it asks for a credit card # to charge $97.

    Zero-cost?

Hope it was a success for you. I did not attend.

    • Hi Karin,

As I wrote in response to John above, we had server troubles due to the sheer volume of participants in the Webinar, so the video wasn't playing, but all you saw was an option to sign-up for another, different 3-part *paid* Webinar . I understand how that might have seemed like we were trying to charge for the FREE Webinar. Of course, that was not the case.

The Webinar is functional now and you can watch any time at:
      http://www.ixwebhosting.com/webinar

  4. didnt work, no firewalls, xp open, on any media platform & im an It specialist

    • Hi Mike,

We had server troubles due to the sheer volume of participants in the Webinar. All is fixed now and you can watch it any time. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

  5. johnmatthesen -

Fathi, I am very angry at the email you sent. The subject line said “zero-cost webinar”, so I blocked off time to listen. Then I discovered that it was not free, that you wanted $97 to join!

For me, that is a total turn-off. I'm sure you had some idea of how to twist those words to mean “zero-cost” but I don't care. You tricked me into taking time.

Now I'm going to look for a different hosting company where the CEO is more honest about marketing.

    Hi,

I unfortunately missed the webinar. I did not receive an email reminder. Was this webinar recorded? If so, do I have access to watch it at a later date?

    Thank you,
    Suzanne Reinfranck

  7. I found this to be interesting and informative. There is a suggestion:
Distribute an outline to listeners with the links that are discussed so we have a chance to practice and learn further. Just listening without being able to put this into practice is not going to help much. I applaud your efforts and thank you for you interest to help.
    Regards,
    Michael

    Guys:

Thank you. Your free webinar was just excellent. I'll be studying the possibility to sign up for the 3 part seminar.

  9. I am excited about learning way more than what I have already taught myself. Thank you!

  10. I'm excited to be one of your webinar participant. I've registerd actually, for zero-cost webinar, “How to Develop X-Ray Vision in Your Market”. Yet, I couldn't spare my time joining this webinar at appointed time. Is there possible that I could get the video, hopefully downloaded. I really don't want to miss this opportunity.

  11. Loved the webinar, definately learned alot. Thank you!

I registered for the zero-cost webinar programme on “How to Develop X-Ray Vision in Your Market”, but I couldn't attend due to my schedule at work. Is there possible that I could get the video, possibly downloaded. I really don't want to miss this opportunity.
    Warm Regards,
    Azeez

  13. boblevy -

The webinar had some good content(but not crisp) , but like others have said, an outline would have been very helpful. What gets me very concerned is that it was nothing but a sales pitch for “if you want more it will cost $97.00″
This is just like the seminars that I attend – BOTH FREE and PAID. Yes, there is some good content, but it is more like fishing. Give (or charge) some good bait and the fish that are “hungry” will bite and pay more!

Sorry, There are better offerings available…..

  14. Djluri -

I liked this webinar a lot and am thinking of registering for the paid 3-part webinar but i'd like to understand specifically how this will help me grow my 'business' which is consists of Intellectual capital — unique writing workshops that I'd like to do on a wider basis online and a book which I'm considering self-publishing if my agent can't get me a traditional deal. Even more specifically — I love the idea of creating an entertaining video about my business — Transformative Writing — but I don't think as a marketer and I'm wondering how to create something on a small budget that will be effective, entertaining etc.

  15. I’m still waiting for imperia to come out (which was promised to come out before the end of 2009).
    Is this just a distraction?

  16. ZephyrXT -

when will Imperia happen? It has been a long time since announcement

  17. I would normally not comment. However I am getting older and losing my politeness by the year. So as you asked, I'm going to tell you.

Before i tell you, I have to say I really appreciate what you have offered here – I can definitely use this infromation, if my years allow.

But you said, “Ok, so have at it! Let me know what you thought of the webinar! “

I have a private forum dedicated to making one's life worth the effort. In that forum I posted the following message. Somehow I feel in all honesty, I should let you know what I have said, so here it is. I admit you are probably in no mind to reflect upon yourselves, but then, age has made me care less about that, and more about genuine communication:

    “Americans – US variety

I am continually fascinated by the stereotypical characteristics of this culture.

So I've decided to start a thread of reflections.

First off the block – they have this incredible ability to zero down on the most pragmatic aspects of life. To their detriment in many ways.

I am just watching a webinar on online marketing by some US experts. The first thing which grabs my attention is their accent. One sounds definitely Afro-American: they have a tell-tale variation on the US accent, and I feel very comforted by their presence.

So I am under no doubt via the accent, that we are home and hosed in the heart of US culture.

Next is their incredible ability to hone in on the implications of reductionist detail. I am very impressed. And yet at the same time I am strangely uncomfortable. It's like some small voice in the back of my mind saying, “Is this all there is to it? Aren't we missing something important? Isn't something critical being lost in this microscopic un-packaging?”

It is like the saying – the context is the message. Add to that, the long arm of American fascination with 'salesmanship'.

Don't get me wrong, I really admire the dedication to pulling apart every small detail of why you aren't making money – or how you could be making money. I mean, lets be clear here – that is the essence: money.

Now don't get me wrong. I like money as much as my neighbours. It is useful in the most obvious ways. But there is something that is not brought forth – 'voice'.

The issue is that you are not successful because you haven't studied the market seriously enough, and how to reach that market and hold them – bring them through to sale. But I ask, 'where is the voice of genuineness?' Isn't that the first thing to get right? Obviously not – plenty of genuine people have died poor.

So now we have the death of the Anti-American, J.D. Sallanger. On US TV show recently, I heard a man say how Sallanger was archetypal Anti-American, because he rejected fame. He rejected the whole 'Death of a Salesman' paradigm. Thus he rejected what is quintessentially American. Which made him all the more fascinating.

Funny that – this guy says he isn't interested in what all you people think about him, and everyone says, “Wow, what a great line to get attention!”

So, disturbed yet in admiration – how I stand just now.”

Oh, just ignore me. I'm an old fart who still believes there is more to life than external success. But I'm not that old to ignore good advise when I see it! Well done guys.

  35. Where has the Webinar Comments Post gone I wanted to read it Sorry guess it’s moved on like so many other things

  36. Excellent webinar. We were glad to be able to attend.

  37. A very good idea, I love very webinars.

  38. This webinar has indeed been very informative. The sections pertaining to keyword research using the Google adwords tool were very insightful. Knowing whether your target market can support you before launching an online venture is extremely important and this is something that most businesses fail to realize beforehand. The discussion about social media websites as well as Google analytics was also very useful.

  39. Jacob Taylor -

The courage as shown by the web designers working with you are above board. They have not veneered the truth in any way. We really laud their efforts steely. With growing popularity, web hosting industry has been experiencing tremendous boost and competitiveness from the sides of website owners, when majority of them are either already attached with the industry. But, equally same numbers of newcomers are queuing up for new servers. Their knowledge about the linux dedicated server is poor to some extent, as the survey shows by you. With a view to enrich their understanding about its capability, your efforts deserve praises!

  40. Merci pour le partage, nous réjouissons de votre prochain article à écrire mieux, je vous souhaite une vie heureuse.

I really liked your blog quite informative and interesting facts and figures you have discussed on your blog even the comments are very fruitful and helpful in enhancing the knowledge regarding the topic.

  42. Puppeter -

In the last few years, you have greatly reduced the system zaschityyu. And today the server crashed and all my sites in the span … Repair the server, and better look for its safety. Your praise will burst soon when this will be repeated.

    • IX: Rob H. - -

@Puppeter: our apologies for the downtime you experienced. No doubt you have read our status blog by now, so you are probably aware of the nature of the issue. The good news is we have taken the necessary steps to block the source of this downtime.
